Ingredients: 6 serves
- Olive Green Organics Quinoa 1 cup
- Water 4 cups
- Cinnamon quilt 1 unit
- Cloves 5 units
- Orange skin 2 units
- Pineapple skin ½ unit
- Strawberries 6 units
In a pot add the water and the Quinoa, cook until tender. Strain and reserve the water.
Put on a tray the cooked Quinoa and dry in the oven at 50 degrees for 2 hours.
In the same pot add the Quinoa water, orange, pineapple, apple skins with cloves and cinnamon. Bring the water into simmering state, and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Take all the skins and spices out of the Quinoa water and serve as a substitute of tea or coffee with honey.
You can use the remaining dried Quinoa as a cereal with milk and honey. Store in a dry area.
The “Calientito de Quinoa” will keep you warm during this cold winter and will keep you away from caffeine. This drink is also highly recommended for children!
